Palivizumab study for children at high risk of severe RSV

Who can take part

  • Your child is an infant born at or before 35 weeks of pregnancy and is under 6 months old.
  • Your child is under 24 months old and has a chronic lung condition (BPD) that required treatment in the last 6 months.
  • Your child is under 24 months old and has a significant heart defect (CHD).
  • Your child is not currently hospitalized (unless expected to go home within 30 days) or on a breathing machine.
  • Your child does not have a current RSV infection or other acute illness with fever in the past week.
