Who can take part
- Your child must be under 2 years old and weigh at least 4.4 pounds (2 kg).
- Your child must have had RSV symptoms for less than 1 week and tested positive for RSV.
- Your child must be hospitalized and have at least 2 of these signs: trouble feeding, low oxygen levels, or fast/working breathing.
- Your child cannot have other serious medical conditions that require hospital care (except conditions that raise RSV risk, like heart or lung disease).
- Your child must not have taken other RSV antiviral medicines in the last 24 hours.
- Your child must have normal liver and kidney function for their age.
