Who can take part

  • Infant is under 1 year old, including both preterm and full-term babies.
  • Baby weighs at least 3 kg (about 6.6 pounds) at the start of the study.
  • Baby is entering their first RSV season (when RSV is most common).
  • Parent or legal guardian agrees to follow the study plan, attend visits, and give blood samples.
  • Baby must not have had a fever or acute illness in the last 7 days, or an RSV infection before the study starts.
  • Baby cannot have certain health problems, like serious lung or heart conditions, or a history of severe allergies.
