- You are 18 years old or older.
- You have chest pain that started between 3 and 12 hours ago and feels like it could be a heart attack.
- Your ECG does not show a specific pattern called ST-segment elevation (which is a sign of a major heart attack).
- You do not have advanced kidney disease, active cancer, or a chronic lung condition that could affect the test results.
- You are not pregnant or breastfeeding.
