Who can take part

  • You have kidney stones confirmed by a scan, ultrasound, or X-ray.
  • Your stones are between 5 and 20 millimeters in size.
  • You are scheduled for flexible ureteroscopy to remove your kidney stones.
  • Your kidney and ureter are normal or only mildly changed so the tube can be safely placed.
  • You are willing to sign a consent form to participate.
