- You are 40 years or older.
- You have been diagnosed with primary open-angle glaucoma and need cataract surgery.

- Your eye pressure before stopping glaucoma drops is 25 mmHg or lower, and after stopping drops it is between 22 and 30 mmHg (or you have a history of high pressure).
