  • Weigh at least 33 pounds (15 kg).
  • Have had ulcerative colitis for at least 3 months.
  • Active disease with bleeding, frequent stools, and inflammation seen on a scope.
  • Current treatments (like steroids, immunosuppressants, or biologics) have failed, caused problems, or you can't take them.
  • Not had a previous Janus kinase inhibitor like tofacitinib or upadacitinib.
