Who can take part
- Must be receiving hemodialysis and related medications for at least 6 weeks
- Must have a Kt/V score greater than 1.2 (a measure of dialysis adequacy)
- Must be 20 years of age or older
- No severe high potassium (hyperkalemia) in the last 3 months
- No bone, joint, or muscle problems that make exercise difficult
- Not pregnant
