Who can take part

  • You are 18 years or older.
  • You have a lung nodule or lesion that has been confirmed as cancer by a biopsy.
  • The tumor is 2 cm or smaller and is not located in the central part of the lung near major blood vessels or airways.
  • You have been evaluated by a team of doctors and are considered a candidate for lung surgery.
  • You have not had chemotherapy, radiation, or certain other treatments for this tumor in the past 3 months.
