Who can take part

  • You have had a liver biopsy at least 1 year after starting antiviral treatment for hepatitis B.
  • You had a liver biopsy, a liver stiffness measurement, or a specific blood test (APRI) before starting antiviral therapy.
  • You do not have advanced cirrhosis complications like fluid in the belly, confusion, or bleeding from veins in the esophagus.
  • You do not have liver cancer or a history of liver transplant.
  • You do not have other liver diseases like hepatitis C, HIV, alcoholic liver disease, or autoimmune hepatitis.
  • You are not pregnant or breastfeeding, and have no other serious organ diseases or active cancers.
