Who can take part
- You must have a type of liver cancer called hepatocellular carcinoma (HCC) that cannot be removed with surgery.
- You should be between 18 and 75 years old.
- You must be able to do most daily activities with little or no help (ECOG score 0 or 1).
- Your liver function must be fairly good, with a Child-Pugh score of 7 or less.
- Your cancer should not have been treated before, and at least one tumor must be measurable on a scan.
- You cannot have certain other liver cancers, severe fluid buildup in the belly, or a history of blood clots or bleeding problems.
