Stress and heart risks in peripheral artery disease
Part of Heart & circulation clinical trials.
This study looks at how stress affects heart and blood vessel events in people with peripheral artery disease (PAD). It aims to help understand if stress plays a role in worsening PAD or causing related problems like heart attacks or strokes.

This study tests a new type of exercise that uses a blood-flow restriction cuff to see if it helps people with leg pain from blocked arteries. If you have stable claudication (leg pain when walking) and have been referred to cardiac rehab, you may qualify.
This study tests a prevention program for people who have already had a heart event, stroke, or leg artery blockage. It is designed to help reduce the risk of future heart problems.
This trial uses a special CT scan (coronary CTA with HeartFlow analysis) to look for hidden blockages in the heart arteries of people who recently had a leg artery procedure. It may help detect heart problems early so they can be treated.
This study tests a program of exercise before and after a stent procedure for people with peripheral artery disease who have leg pain while walking. The goal is to see if this helps improve walking ability and recovery.
This trial tests a personalized exercise program for people with peripheral arterial disease (PAD), a condition that causes leg pain when walking. The goal is to see if a tailored exercise plan can help reduce pain, improve walking distance, and boost quality of life.
This trial tests a supervised exercise program for people with leg pain when walking caused by narrowed leg arteries. The goal is to see if exercise can improve walking ability and quality of life.
