NY-ESO-1 T cells for advanced melanoma and sarcoma

Who can take part
- You must have advanced melanoma or sarcoma that has spread or cannot be removed by surgery.
- You must have already tried at least one (or two, depending on your cancer type) standard treatments without success, or you cannot tolerate them.
- Your tumor must test positive for a protein called NY-ESO-1 and you must have a specific genetic marker (HLA-A*0201 or 0205).
- You must be 18 or older, able to undergo a procedure called apheresis (like donating blood cells), and have a tumor that can be biopsied.
- You must be in generally good health (able to care for yourself) and have a life expectancy of at least 12 weeks.
- You cannot have untreated brain metastases, active other cancers, or serious infections or lung conditions.
- You cannot be pregnant or breastfeeding, and must agree to use effective contraception.
