Who can take part

  • You must be 18 years or older.
  • You must have non-small cell lung cancer that can be removed with surgery (stage IB to IIIB).
  • Your cancer must have the ALK gene change (ALK-positive), confirmed by a local lab.
  • You must be in good enough health to have surgery and take the study drug (ECOG score 0 or 1).
  • You cannot have had any prior cancer treatment for this lung cancer, such as chemotherapy or immunotherapy.
  • Women who can become pregnant must use birth control; men must use barrier contraception.
