Who can take part

  • You have active cancer (any type).
  • You've had a blood clot in a deep vein of an arm or leg (DVT), in your lungs (PE), in your belly (splanchnic vein), or in your brain sinuses (cerebral sinus vein).
  • You plan to take blood thinners for at least 6 months.
  • You are 18 or older.
  • Doctors expect you to live more than 6 months.
