Who can take part

  • You are having your first baby
  • You are at least 18 years old and can read and write Turkish
  • You are carrying one baby, head-down, and are between 37 and 42 weeks pregnant
  • Your labor has started (active phase of stage 1) and you have no pregnancy complications
  • You do not have any chronic or psychiatric illnesses and do not have spine or bone problems
  • You agree not to use any pain medicine during labor and are willing to participate
