Who can take part

  • Your child is between 4 and 12 years old and has a doctor's diagnosis of asthma.
  • Your child is regularly seen by a children's asthma specialist (pediatrician or lung doctor).
  • Your child's asthma severity is mild to moderate (GINA grades 2, 3, or 4).
  • Your child uses a standard inhaler (called a pressurized metered-dose inhaler) for daily control and quick-relief medicine.
  • You have a smartphone at home that can download apps and is compatible with the study app.
  • You are able to understand and follow instructions for using the app and the special digital inhalers.
