Who can take part
- You have a type of esophageal cancer called squamous cell carcinoma that cannot be surgically removed.
- You are between 18 and 80 years old.
- You have not had any prior chemotherapy, radiation, surgery, targeted therapy, or immunotherapy for your cancer.
- You are able to swallow pills and have adequate organ function (heart, lungs, blood cells, liver, kidneys).
- You can provide a tissue sample from a previous biopsy for analysis.
