This trial tests a gel called oleogel-S10 on wounds caused by a rare skin condition called epidermolysis bullosa (EB). It is only for people of Japanese descent who have a specific type of EB called junctional or dystrophic EB. The gel is put on the wound to help it heal.

Who can take part

  • You must be at least 21 days old.
  • You must have junctional or dystrophic epidermolysis bullosa (JEB or DEB).
  • Both your biological parents and all four grandparents must be of Japanese descent.
  • You must have at least 3 wounds that are not in the genital area, at least 5 cm apart, and some of them must have been open for at least 21 days but less than 9 months.
  • If you are a woman who can get pregnant, you must avoid pregnancy during the study by using specific birth control methods or by not having sex.
  • You and/or your legal guardian must understand the study and agree to follow all rules.
