Who can take part
- You must be 18 or older.
- The wound must be a pressure injury (bed sore) on the pelvis or lower leg, present for at least 4 weeks but less than a year.
- The wound should be Stage 2, 3, or 4 (not Stage 1), with no signs of infection or exposed bone.
- The wound should be between 1 cm² and 25 cm² (about the size of a pea to a credit card) and not deeper than 1 cm.
- You must be able to keep pressure off the wound for 14 days before starting the study.
- You need adequate blood flow to the wound, confirmed by a simple test (ABI or TBI) within the past month.
