Who can take part
- You must be 18 or older.
- Your pressure ulcer must be stage 2 or stage 3, not infected, and located on your pelvis or lower leg.
- The wound should be between 1 and 30 square centimeters in size and no deeper than 1 centimeter (if deeper, you need to use a wound vacuum).
- You must be willing and able to use a wound vacuum (negative pressure therapy) if your doctor thinks it's needed.
- You should have good blood flow to your leg, confirmed by a recent test (ABI or TBI).
- If you are a woman who could become pregnant, you must have a negative pregnancy test.
