Who can take part
- Be at least 18 years old
- Have type 1 or type 2 diabetes
- Have a diabetic foot ulcer that has been present for at least 4 weeks and less than 1 year
- Your ulcer has not shrunk by 25% in the last 2 weeks
- Your ulcer is between half a square centimeter and 25 square centimeters in size
- You have good blood flow to your foot (tested with a simple ultrasound or other test)
- Your ulcer is free of infection and dead tissue before starting treatment
- If you are a woman who could become pregnant, you must have a negative pregnancy test
