Who can take part

  • You have a specific type of autoimmune disease called anti-MDA5 positive dermatomyositis, which affects your skin and muscles.
  • You have a fast-worsening lung condition linked to your disease, known as rapidly progressive interstitial lung disease (RP-ILD).
  • You are not pregnant or breastfeeding, and if you are a man, you agree to use birth control during the study.
  • You do not have a severe lung infection, collapsed lung, or large fluid buildup around your lungs right now.
  • You are not on a breathing tube ventilator or on advanced life support machines (like ECMO or dialysis for blood filtering).
