Who can take part
- You have advanced liver cancer (HCC) that has spread, cannot be surgically removed, or cannot be treated with local therapies.
- You have not received any prior systemic treatment (e.g., oral or IV drugs) for your liver cancer.
- Your liver function is good (Child-Pugh class A), and you are able to perform daily activities with little or no help (ECOG 0 or 1).
- If you have hepatitis B or C, it must be well controlled with antiviral therapy.
- You have no history of severe bleeding, significant ascites (fluid in the belly), or brain metastases.
- You are not currently taking certain blood thinners or anti-inflammatory drugs like aspirin (high dose).
