Who can take part

  • You are between 18 and 75 years old.
  • You have chronic hepatitis B with liver scarring (fibrosis or cirrhosis).
  • You were diagnosed with early-stage liver cancer (stages Ia to IIa) and had surgery or heat ablation to remove it.
  • It has been 8 to 12 weeks since your procedure, and scans show no cancer left.
  • Your liver function is good enough (Child-Pugh score A or B).
  • You have not had other cancer treatments like chemotherapy or radiation before this surgery.
