Who can take part
- You must be between 18 and 65 years old.
- You must have been diagnosed with hepatitis B-related cirrhosis.
- You must have a specific traditional Chinese medicine syndrome type called Qi-zhi-xue-yu (a pattern of qi stagnation and blood stasis).
- Your aMAP score must be greater than 60 (a score that estimates liver cancer risk).
- You cannot have had liver cancer or any other cancer before.
- You cannot be pregnant or breastfeeding.
- You cannot have severe complications from cirrhosis like fluid in the belly, confusion, or bleeding in the stomach.
- You cannot have other liver diseases like hepatitis C, HIV, alcohol-related liver disease, autoimmune hepatitis, or drug-induced liver injury.
- You cannot have severe heart, kidney, lung, or blood disorders.
