This trial tests a medication (pegylated interferon alfa-2b) for people with hepatitis B-related liver cancer that has been completely removed by surgery or ablation. The goal is to see if this treatment can help prevent the cancer from coming back.

Who can take part
- You must be between 18 and 65 years old.
- You must have liver cancer (hepatocellular carcinoma) related to hepatitis B and have had it surgically removed or treated with ablation (a procedure to destroy the tumor).
- Your tumor should be at an early stage (CNLC stage Ia, Ib, or IIa) with no remaining cancer after treatment.
- You must be hepatitis B surface antigen (HBsAg) positive and your HBsAg level must be below 2000 IU/mL.
- You must not have had previous chemotherapy, immunotherapy, or targeted therapy for this cancer.
- Women who can have children must have a negative pregnancy test and use effective birth control during treatment and for 24 weeks after the last dose.
