Who can take part

  • You are 18 years or older
  • You have chronic kidney disease with a certain level of kidney function (eGFR between 25 and 60) and high protein in your urine (UACR 300 or more)
  • Your blood pressure is stable and between 110/60 and 150/90 mmHg (or slightly higher with extra monitoring)
  • You are on a consistent blood pressure medication regimen for at least 2 weeks before starting the study drug
  • If you are a woman who could become pregnant, you must have a negative pregnancy test and use effective birth control during the study
