This trial tests whether a special kind of stem cell (called TH-SC01) can help people with long-term rectal damage from pelvic radiation. You will be injected with a small amount of radioactive material attached to the cells so doctors can see where they go and how long they stay in your body.

Who can take part

  • You had pelvic cancer treated with radiation more than 6 months ago.
  • You have chronic proctitis (rectal inflammation) that hasn't improved with standard treatments.
  • A colonoscopy confirmed the diagnosis.
  • Doctors rated your proctitis symptoms at a specific level (LENT-SOMA score of 1 or higher but not the worst level of 4) during the screening.
  • You are in good overall physical condition (able to do most normal activities).
  • You agree to use effective, non-hormonal contraception if needed and not plan pregnancy during the study.
