Who can take part

  • You are between 18 and 75 years old.
  • You have had radiation treatment to your pelvic or abdominal area and have ongoing bowel damage (confirmed by a scope and biopsy at least 3 months after radiation ended).
  • Your bowel symptoms are moderate to severe (grade 2-3) and did not improve after 2 weeks of usual treatment.
  • Your cancer has been stable or under control for at least 3 months.
  • Your liver and kidney function tests are within acceptable limits (no more than 2-3 times the normal range).
