Nerve stimulation for chronic kidney disease

Who can take part

  • You must be 18 years or older.
  • You have chronic kidney disease (CKD) stage 3, 4, or 5, with a low kidney function (eGFR ≤ 60).
  • You are being treated at an NYU Nephrology outpatient clinic.
  • You do not have certain heart conditions (like arrhythmias or a pacemaker).
  • You do not have epilepsy, a defibrillator implant, or are on dialysis.
