Who can take part

  • You took part in TBIcare or PACoS-TBI studies before.
  • If you have a brain injury, you qualify as long as you can give consent.
  • If you are a healthy control, you cannot have had a brain injury or other brain disorder.
  • You cannot have certain gut conditions like inflammatory bowel disease or active celiac disease.
  • You cannot have used antibiotics or probiotics in the past month.
  • No major colon surgery, except appendix or gallbladder removal.
