Who can take part

  • You are 18 years or older.
  • You have had a sustained episode of ventricular tachycardia (lasting more than 30 seconds) in the last 6 months.
  • You have tried at least one heart rhythm medication that didn't work or caused side effects.
  • You have structural heart disease (like a prior heart attack or cardiomyopathy) with scarring on your heart muscle.
  • You do not have an active infection, recent heart surgery, or other serious conditions that would make the procedure unsafe.
