This study tests a new way to help school-age children with language disorder learn to understand and use harder sentence structures. If your child struggles with sentences like 'The boy that the girl chased ran away,' this trial might offer extra help.

Who can take part
- Your child must have a language disorder (a problem with using words and sentences) shown by a low score on a language test.
- Your child must have at least average thinking skills, as shown by a score of 77 or higher on a nonverbal IQ test.
- Your child must have normal hearing and normal or corrected vision (with glasses if needed).
- Your child must speak English as their first and main language.
- Your child must not have other major conditions such as autism, ADHD, or a brain injury.
- Your child must not currently be getting treatment for complex sentence skills from another therapist.
