Who can take part

  • You must be at least 18 years old.
  • You must not have Type 1 diabetes or a history of ketoacidosis.
  • You must not be pregnant, planning to become pregnant, or breastfeeding.
  • You must not have taken NSAIDs (like ibuprofen or naproxen) or aspirin in the last 7 days, or blood thinners in the last 10 days.
  • You must weigh more than 60 kilograms (about 132 pounds).
  • You must not have a history of alcohol abuse, pancreatitis, or a ketogenic diet.
