Who can take part
- You are 18 years or older.
- Your daily activity level is normal or only slightly limited (ECOG 0-1).
- Your lung cancer is stage II to IIIB (not spread widely) and can be completely removed by surgery.
- Your tumor is 5 cm or smaller.
- You have not had any chemotherapy or radiation for this lung cancer before.
- You do not have certain gene changes (EGFR mutation or ALK translocation) in your cancer cells.
- You do not have active lung scarring or uncontrolled infections.
