- You are either a strong early riser or a definite night owl (not in between)
- You are willing to eat standard evening meals before study days and not smoke or use cannabis during the study

- You have not worked night shifts or traveled across more than 2 time zones in the past 3 months
- You do not take sleep aids, certain mental health medications, or have major health conditions like diabetes, depression, or eating disorders
