Who can take part

  • You are already taking part in the GlyCoBrain observation study
  • You are either a strong early riser or a definite night owl (not in between)
  • You are willing to eat standard evening meals before study days and not smoke or use cannabis during the study
  • Your body mass index is between 18.5 and 30
  • You are not pregnant or breastfeeding
  • You have not worked night shifts or traveled across more than 2 time zones in the past 3 months
  • You do not take sleep aids, certain mental health medications, or have major health conditions like diabetes, depression, or eating disorders
