- You are 15 to 18 years old
- You have a narrow upper jaw and a Class I bite (normal bite relationship)
- You have never had braces or other orthodontic treatment
- You are generally healthy with no serious medical conditions
- You do not smoke
- You have good oral hygiene and are willing to get a blood test for vitamin D
