Who can take part

  • You are between 4 and 8 years old.
  • You are scheduled for a surgery that lasts more than one hour under general anesthesia.
  • You are in good health (ASA 1 or 2) with no expected breathing problems.
  • You have normal head and neck anatomy.
  • You do not have any active heart, lung, or metabolic diseases.
