Comparing two airway devices for stomach air in children during short surgeries

Who can take part

  • Your child is between 6 and 12 years old
  • Your child is having scheduled (not emergency) surgery that lasts 1 hour or less
  • Your child is generally healthy (ASA I or II, meaning no serious medical conditions)
  • Your child has a normal airway exam (Mallampati score I or II)
  • Your child does not have a cold, flu, asthma, or stomach reflux problems
  • Your child has no known heart or bleeding disorders
