Who can take part

  • Your child must be between 6 months and 3 years old.
  • Your child must be scheduled for a planned surgery under general anesthesia.
  • You (the parent or legal guardian) must agree to let your child join the study.
  • Your child cannot have severe health problems (ASA IV or higher), unstable vital signs, or face/mouth deformities that could make placing a breathing tube hard.
