- Your child's first and main language is Cantonese, and they go to a school where Cantonese is the language of instruction.
- Your child has tested as having below-average language skills in at least two areas of a standardized language test.
- Your child does not have any hearing problems.
- Your child has normal intelligence (IQ).
- Your child has NOT been diagnosed with autism spectrum disorder.
