Who can take part

  • You must be 18 years or older.
  • You can be a newly diagnosed lung cancer patient before starting treatment, someone with unclear results from a low-dose CT scan, a healthy volunteer, or someone with chronic lung disease (like COPD, emphysema, or pneumonia).
  • You cannot have had any cancer other than lung cancer.
  • You cannot have HIV or hepatitis.
  • You cannot have an active autoimmune disease that affects multiple organs (lung-only conditions are okay).
  • Pregnant women and people unable to give consent cannot join.
