Who can take part

  • You are between 50 and 80 years old.
  • You are either a current or former heavy smoker (at least 20 pack-years) and quit within the last 15 years, or you are a never/light smoker with a close family member who had lung cancer.
  • You are willing to have a low-dose CT scan of your chest for lung cancer screening.
  • You are willing to give a blood sample for the study before any procedures or treatment.
  • You have not had lung cancer or another cancer (except for certain skin cancers removed more than a year ago).
