This study tests if adding a nerve stimulation device to a standard nerve block provides better pain relief after below-knee amputation. You may be eligible if you are having this surgery and do not have certain other medical conditions.

Who can take part
- You are 18 years old or older.
- You are scheduled for a below-knee amputation.
- You have not been taking strong prescription painkillers daily for more than 4 weeks before surgery.
- You do not have a nerve or muscle problem affecting the leg being operated on.
- You do not have a weakened immune system (e.g., from chemotherapy, radiation, or infection).
- You do not have any implanted medical devices like a pacemaker or spinal cord stimulator.
