Who can take part

  • You have Fuchs' endothelial corneal dystrophy (a condition affecting the inner layer of your cornea).
  • You are 40 years old or older.
  • Your cornea has a low cell count (less than 1,500 cells per square millimeter).
  • You are scheduled for cataract surgery.
  • You have not had any eye surgery before.
  • You do not have other serious eye diseases (like severe dry eye, corneal scarring, glaucoma, or retinal problems).
