Comparing two lasers for cataract surgery in older adults

Who can take part

  • You are 50 years old or older
  • You have age-related cataracts that are graded as moderate (nuclear grade II to III)
  • You do not have glaucoma or uveitis (inflammation inside the eye)
  • You do not have autoimmune diseases like diabetes or rheumatoid arthritis
  • You have not used steroid or anti-inflammatory eye drops or pills in the past month
  • You have not had any eye surgery, including past laser treatments or eye injuries
