Testing airway shape in adults with asthma

Who can take part

  • Age 18 or older
  • Diagnosed with asthma by a respiratory doctor
  • Had a positive methacholine challenge or bronchodilator reversibility test in the last 6 months
  • Uncontrolled symptoms (ACQ score 1.5 or higher) during screening
  • Elevated markers of airway inflammation (sputum eosinophils ≥3% or FeNO ≥35 ppb) during screening
  • Able to safely undergo an MRI (no metal implants or severe claustrophobia)
