Who can take part

  • You are between 18 and 65 years old.
  • You had a spinal cord injury in your neck or back (from C4 to L2) 2 weeks to 2 months ago.
  • Your injury is rated as AIS grade A, B, or C (complete or incomplete, but not the mildest).
  • You are healthy enough for a spinal tap (lumbar puncture) and can take medicines that suppress your immune system.
  • You are not pregnant and are using effective birth control (non-hormonal) during the study and for 6 months after.
