Who can take part

  • You have a break in the lower part of your jaw near the joint that is out of place (displaced subcondylar fracture).
  • Your age is between 18 and 60 years old.
  • The fracture happened less than 2 weeks ago.
  • You do not have any serious health problems that could slow healing or make surgery risky.
  • You have not had surgery on your jaw before, and there is no other disease or infection at the fracture site.
